The visual identity for North Sea Jazz is driven by rhythm and movement, celebrating the unique energy of live music. Debuted in promotional campaigns, it shows how typography and motion design can play a vital role in creating visual identities and their dissemination across different media. The motion-led design emulated rhythm and movement, and in order to generate the typography for the multitude of applications, the team also developed a custom code to animate text for motion.
