No Comply delved into the story of a 90s skateboard trick that found new life, thanks to a crew of unique individuals who inspired each other to share new variations of it on Instagram. It highlighted pro skaters such as Marbie Miller, Kane Caples, and Richie Jackson, and their pursuit to evolve the trick again and again. Edited by veteran Rick Orrick, the film is an entrancing two-minute journey of skateboard trickery. To highlight the No Comply linear progression, Orrick used seamless match cuts and an inventive approach.
