Longboard Family, which features members of the Facebook group of the same name, showed how skaters from around the world use the group to connect, learn and inspire each other. The film was directed by visionary musician, dancer and creative FKA twigs, whose experience and artistic vision shined throughout everything – from the artful longboard choreography flowing from one skater to the next, to the beautiful cinematography and soundtrack accompanying the main talent. Using her respected pedigree, she tapped into the talent of the dance communities and turned the entire film into a fluid dance routine.
