Untethered is a 23-minute film produced by Swiss sports brand On about the story of David Brown, the world's fastest blind man, and his running guide, Jerome Avery. Bound by a tether, the pair have formed a unique partnership lasting seven years. The filmmakers brought them to New York before Tokyo 2020 under the guise of a trial run for a marathon, taking him through the boroughs and loosely mirroring the route. David had no idea he would be reconnecting with the people that inspired his life: his mum, his first track coach, and his pop culture heroes. Untethered told a story of trust, struggle and friendship.
