Channel 4’s Tokyo Paralympics 2020 campaign film, Super. Human., represents the athletes of the Tokyo Paralympic Games in all their spirit, bravery and complexity, unpicking exactly what it takes to become a Paralympian. Through humanistic images of blood, sweat and tears, the film emphasised the everyday moments – even at their most banal – alongside their sheer athletic determination and extreme sacrifice.
