Show Focus is a system using augmented reality to control the focus of the camera it is paired with. It is designed for a new wave of film professionals who want to explore new ways of making movies. Show Focus mainly addresses the issue of out-of-focus footage, which often leads to costly reshoots or, in the case of documentaries, lost content. With the rise of augmented and mixed reality glasses, Show Focus paves the way for exciting opportunities in film production where focus, lens angle, depth of field and compositing can be seen on set in 3D and controlled more naturally than ever.
