Camera Switches
Graphite Pencil / Digital Design / Inclusive / 2022
Every day, people use voice commands or their hands to navigate their phones. However, that’s not always possible for people with severe motor and speech disabilities. To make Android more accessible for everyone, it built Camera Switches, a way to control your phone and communicate using face and eye movement alone. Camera Switches combines on-device machine learning and the phone's front-facing camera to detect face and eye gestures, which are then used to control actions on the screen.
