For the Portugal launch of the new Galaxy S21 – a smartphone with an 8K video camera and cinema-like quality – Samsung looked to create a localised campaign tied to cinema, and found something that most Portuguese people didn’t even know about. Fernando Pessoa, the greatest Portuguese poet of all time, was also a screenwriter. When he died in 1935, he left a chest with 25,000 manuscripts. Among them, there were six movie scripts left unproduced until now. The Idol is the first screenplay written by Fernando Pessoa and produced on film, shot through the lens of a Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G.
