Schackbräde, which means chessboard in Swedish, is a series of monochrome posters exploring the relationship between chess and design, two disciplines with many elements in common – creativity, beauty, strategy, balance, harmony, movement and geometry – but that rarely meet each other. The collection shows 16 games played by some of the best international grandmasters. It was sent to the main chess clubs in Madrid to be exhibited at their facilities and shared with their members. Schackbräde was also featured by various local and foreign design media.
