In 2020, the streets fell silent. Yet the dark days of the pandemic became a reason to revisit the joys of daily life. Long ago, the Japanese recited poems while sipping sake and gazing at the moon's reflection on a lake. Nights by the Lake featured illustrations depicting reflections of the moon, a woman and a sake cup, which aimed to inspire readers to cherish the moon and live life to its fullest.
