In the world of gaming, women not only have to fight against their opponents, but also against prejudice and sexist discrimination, which impacts both their experience of gaming and everyday life. Xbox wanted to show that gaming is for everyone isn't just a slogan, so it took the controller and turned it into a symbol of equality. The message was spread around the world by the biggest gaming influencers in 23 countries, who used unboxing videos to drive awareness of the issue and show support to female gamers.
