Forming—Unforming

Forming-Unforming is a yearly compilation of work and research from the SUTD School of Architecture and Sustainable Design (SUTD ASD). Published and edited by the faculty, the publication stands as a documentation of ideas and thought experiments at the school. With the growing presence of AI and machine learning in SUTD ASD's curriculum, the project presented an opportunity to explore the possibilities of these new mediums. Working with assistant professor Immanuel Koh, a machine learning model was trained on the contents of the publication, resulting in 700 unique cover designs.
