The Notebook of the Beauty of Lancang-Mekong Region

The book covers the landscapes and populations of the six countries located along the Lancang-Mekong River Basin, describing them as places that are linked not just geographically, but culturally, too. Told in the languages of China, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam, the book expresses the idea of 'drinking from the same river' and the spiritual connection that comes from that. The front and back covers present the various languages (Chinese-Lao, Chinese-Thai, Chinese-Myanmar, Chinese-Vietnamese and Chinese-Cambodian) as though connected as one river, symbolising the unity of the Lancang Mekong countries.
