Ox in the Box is a festive gift set, especially designed and handcrafted to usher in the upcoming lunar new year of 2021 as a self-promotional item for Fictionist Studio. 2021 marks the year of the ox, a headstrong and driven animal which the studio showcased as a spin-off of the jack-in-a-box format and mechanism. The outer box sports a barn house silhouette and holds a slim box, which upon opening shows an ox leaping out into a 3D form. The ox boasts custom-drawn Chinese typography on all its facets, set in rainbow holographic foil printing.
