Back in 2019 Brexit dragged on didn’t it? It became almost a taboo word, up there with the topics to avoid at a dinner party. So, rather than contributing to the doom and gloom headlines around the UK’s imminent departure from the EU, P&O Ferries produced these ads to defuse the negativity around Brexit and bring a little playful humour and positivity to the conversation. On a commercial level, the ads provided reassurance that P&O Ferries remained committed to its 180-year-long endeavour of connecting the UK and mainland Europe, regardless of the outcome.
