When the UAE sent a probe to Mars in 2020, the Government wanted to make sure that everybody was watching its arrival. Using super-realistic sky mapping projection technology, MullenLowe MENA projected two exact replicas of the Mars moons onto the sky to make UAE residents feel as if they were in space. Within a few hours, videos had taken the internet by storm and the media started to cover the ‘phenomenon’. After the buzz built up, a government announcement revealed the truth and invited everyone to tune into the live stream and watch the UAE arrive on the Red Planet.
