Gender Creative Kids is a Canadian non-profit organisation that provides education, community, and resources to kids who identify beyond the binary (and their parents). It sought to dignify and officialise its presence as it works to expand nationwide, impact legislation, and grow membership. From a kid’s perspective gender is simple, it’s “who I am”. This was the core idea for the rebrand, inspired by the youth Wedge met. This core truth led the studio to design the iconic heart character symbol that goes beyond language. The overall expression is joyful, human, inclusive and aims to make people feel safe.
