Founded in 1921 the Royal British Legion exists to support serving and ex-serving personnel every day of the week. The new visual identity was designed to create unity and recognition across all of its work, raising awareness of its important role in society to new and expanding audiences. The poppy, a symbol that means so much, is proudly placed at the heart of both the organisation and the brand. Positioned at the heart of the logo between the R and L, it visually demonstrates the Royal British Legion’s role in caring for and supporting servicemen and women – past, present and future.
