Chevrolet’s Silverado Tailgates shows the truck across ten different decades, making each scene appear authentic to the time period by researching and tracking down the different film stocks and cameras that matched each specific era. By showing a true-to-the-period snapshot of history – both the history of Chevrolet Silverado as well as of America – Chevrolet reinforced the truck’s dependability over time, leading up to the modern day, more advanced version.
