Quantum Flytrap
Shortlist / Side Hustle / Start-Up / Established Professional / 2021
The interest in quantum computing is growing fast, but quantum computing and physics are hard to learn, use, and interact with. Quantum Flytrap was set up to produce accessible, intuitive, and inclusive user interfaces for quantum. Its first product, the Quantum Lab, is a real-time in-browser simulation that goes beyond abstract quantum computing. It is already being used at Stanford University and the University of Oxford, but the company hopes to expand beyond academia. Quantum Flytrap aims to be the default user interface for the future quantum workforce and a wider popular science audience.
