With photo shoots on hold due to the pandemic, Suburbia was faced with the challenge of creating new images for a British Vogue Autumn/Winter Collections shoot. The magazine has a rich and storied photographic history and so the solution was to delve into the magazine’s archive selecting 20 iconic images representing the best of fashion photography between the 1940s and 1990s. Framestore then digitally recreated new clothes from the Autumn Winter 2020 collections, which were used to ‘update’ the fashion in the original archive images.
