The first campaign for the global launch of the PlayStation 5 targeted the most engaged players, who were looking for the next level in gaming. Spotlighting the immersive capabilities with the new console was the basis of the brief. The main challenge was showcasing the features of the new console that were not based on visuals alone but the overall console experience. By building hype and understanding around these new features before launch, the campaign contributed to PS5 achieving more pre-orders in 12 hours than the previous console had achieved in 12 weeks.
