new-land received a brief to tell the story of car crash survivors and the role the seatbelt played in their respective stories. The agency initiated a wide cast search to find a diverse range of representation, which proved challenging with Covid-19 travel restrictions and limitations. After a long search, new-land found amazing people who were willing to share their stories and, at times, traumatic experiences. It was important that the film was informative but remained poignant and delicate, respecting and giving space to crash survivors and their vulnerability.
