Human diets are killing the earth's biodiversity. 75% has been lost since 1900. 50% of our calories come from just three crop families. Stopping this trend is critical to the earth’s health. And our survival. Land O’Lakes wanted to alert people to the situation, but knew it couldn’t be too sciencey. Complex concepts and data had to be simplified to create immediate impact and lasting understanding. As part of a larger activation, The Truth About Biodiversity film helped generate 250+ global media stories, 318+ million impressions and 18+ million social interactions.
