An Identity that Unites Oslo
Wood Pencil / Design Transformation / Holistic Design Transformation / 2020
Oslo has 15 districts, 36 agencies, 53,000 employees, and countless projects and initiatives. Over time, clutter had built up in the city’s identity, which was using around 250 logos. As a result, residents didn’t recognise much of the good work that their city did. It’s estimated this fragmentation cost over 4.5m Euro yearly to maintain. Creuna Norway created one logo and identity to unite the city. The new identity adapts to the diversity of Oslo’s institutions and services. It creates unity across all channels, communication styles and tones. The result is clarity, efficiency, and broad flexibility.
