Commissioned by the Slovenian Ministry of Culture to support the release of Slovenian trio YGT’s album Sinking Ship, this film, at its heart, is a music video for the album’s title track. But for the director it’s much more. Inspired by VR and civilisation-building games, he conceived a lost world where monolithic blue hands threaten the eroded landscape and its peoples. This world is a place with complex characters, surreal landscapes, and mysterious mythologies. It’s a strange but eerily calming atmosphere that perfectly supports the ethereal, haunting song.
