Child Labor

Child labor is a worldwide problem. In Brazil, it’s present in every industry sector and specially in handcrafted articles sold to tourists. The articles are beautiful, but they hide child labor. We needed to create a piece to report this situation and alert people, so they are aware of how what they buy is made. Those pieces were manually created with toys glued to form identic patterns in the handcraft pieces sold all over the country, which in several cases were made by children. They are collages with dolls on hand-painted pieces.
