Film Is Not Dead
Wood Pencil / Photography / Fine Art & Conceptual / 2019
Film Is Not Dead is a series of personal photo narratives by photographer Pann Lim using his most beloved film Kodak Ultramax 400. Based on this insight and his love for this film, the whole concept and idea revolves around an authentic looking 35mm film box. Upon opening the box, you will find a plastic canister which typically holds a roll of film but now it holds a 'roll' of photo book. The typography & colours used are also inspired & appropriated from famous film brands. The result is a joyous product that delights the readers in both the packaging and the 'roll' of booklet.
