Double Rainbows are biodegradable condoms, made with new hydrogel technology, that also contain rose seeds in equally biodegradable stone-paper wrappers. They are the first truly eco-friendly condom, and whose existence is thanks to a 2017 breakthrough in hydrogel technology.
There is currently no type of condom that is truly eco-friendly. Current “eco-friendly” condoms do not biodegrade and are produced from petrochemicals. The aim of Double Rainbows is to displace these condoms by giving the world population an affordable and interesting alternative, one that even beautifies the world.
