Project Revoice is a new voice cloning program for people with ALS. Through an AI algorithm that analyzes the unique DNA of a voice, it creates a digital voice clone that can say anything in real-time via text-to-speech devices. This gives people with ALS the ability to communicate freely and naturally in their own voice, even after they physically can’t. The program was launched by recreating the voice of Pat Quinn – ALS sufferer and co-founder of the Ice Bucket Challenge – and capturing the moment he finally spoke again. Going forward, the program will change lives of ALS patients worldwide.
