Casey House Documentary – June's
Wood Pencil / Branded Content & Entertainment / Live Experience/ Live Events / 2019
Even in a country as progressive as Canada, 50% of Canadians wouldn’t eat a meal prepared by someone with HIV. To smash HIV stigma, we opened the world’s first HIV-positive eatery and named it “June’s” after Casey House founder, June Callwood. We attracted the attention an Oscar-nominated director, Hubert Davis, to create a documentary about the June’s experience. It premiered in cinema, and was later picked up by HBO, giving June’s an even wider audience.
