As part of la Repubblica's extensive redesign, changes were made to content, navigation elements, and specialist sections for added analysis and commentary. Three new custom type families were also introduced together with vertically set section heads. The front page sees a new design element and a narrow column head dedicated to powerful ideas and critique.
