Released in anticipation of the first 2016 Presidential Debate, ‘Duel’ is a film for Audi that paralleled and parodied the volatile political climate of the United States. Unfolding in reverse through a luxurious hotel, the spot follows the brawl between two car valets, a man and a woman, as they vie for the ticket to an Audi RS 7. The film begins with the valets worn out and weary on the floor of the hotel’s grand ballroom, having just crashed through a roof window and onto an elaborate seafood buffet, and immediately plunges into reverse to reveal the battle that led to the mess.
