Making of Björk Digital
Wood Pencil / Digital Design / Digital Installations / 2017
Real-time streaming of 360-degree VR/AR performance mixing live footage with augmented virtual effects. In a collaborative project with the artist Bjork, we explored new possibilities for music & video expression. On June 28, 2016, at the Miraikan in Tokyo, Japan, we live streamed a Bjork performance using 360-degree VR. The streamed video images incorporated, in real time, both elements that were visible & invisible to the naked eye. Surrounded by cameras, the stage featured various types of lighting & sensors to bring what could & could not be seen to life within the 360-degree performance.
