For years, Pandora had been the category leader in streaming music. By 2014 press was predicting “the year of the Pandora killers,” and emerging competitors were spending hundreds of millions of dollars to lure Pandora’s listeners away. We knew that this would be a critical year, and we needed to make an impact with Millennials age 18-24.
