The 100% fully CG animated spot sees Audi’s iconic R8 model giving birth to the sleek new RS3 in a futuristic and atmospheric birthing chamber, marrying mechanic and organic forms together.
Every component of each car as well as the mechanical chamber was crafted in CG using CAD data.
This spot features no live action. Skilled animators used rigging to create a naturalistic movement, helping the animation of the film to bring the sense of organic life and energy to the foreground – ensuring the car held its own against the mechanical and technical aspects.
