Samaritans Radar
Graphite Pencil / Creativity for Good (White Pencil) / Advertising & Marketing Communications - Not for Profit / 2016
More than ever, young adults are using Twitter to express their feelings of sadness before taking their lives. These distressed messages are getting buried in Twitter feeds and are being missed. That’s why suicide prevention charity Samaritans, created Radar. A free web application that alerts you to potentially worrying tweets from friends. You decide if the tweet is a cry for help or not. Every answer was fed back into the app to improve the service. If you were concerned about the Tweet, Radar gave guidance on how to support your friend.
