Mayokero is an a capella song by Israeli artist, comedian and musician Roy Kafri. In the video, discarded vinyl records seemingly come to life and begin beatboxing. Bob Dylan, David Bowie, Madonna and Michael Jackson all lend their voices to what is a requiem for the 'dying' format. The video's narrative unfolds in reverse. As it does, we see why this man has thrown away his record collection. He's just bought what's sure to be the next big thing, a Sony MiniDisc player.
