Cycling is on the rise. But finding safe and direct routes isn't always easy. And navigating with smartphones while riding is dangerous. Hammerhead offers cyclists a safe and simple way to get where they're going. Inspired by the system pilots use to land airplanes, Hammerhead uses a series of lights to guide riders, indicating turns, distances and even alerting riders to mistakes via the free app. Hammerhead's routes take hills, traffic and weather into account to compile the world's most comprehensive cycling route database. The system keeps the roads safer for everyone, whether they use it or not.
