Yuki Sawaya
Wood Pencil / Graphic Design / Logos / 2015
The logo for Yuki Sawaya, a new kimono retail brand, references the silk thread historically used to make kimonos. The fingers portray the process, while a long and simple line best represents the history and tradition of Y_ki-tsumugi, the Japanese craft of silk cloth. The line is used at varying lengths depending on the application, and extends across all collateral.
