Awkward Family Viewing
Graphite Pencil / Film Advertising Crafts / Direction for Film Advertising / 2015
In a series of sharply written familial scenes inspired by all too familiar situations, these films targeted millennials by showcasing the awkward trials of watching HBO shows with parents. In casting, the challenge was to find watchable actors able to express emotion without resorting to clichés. They needed to feel like real people, not actors making choices. The horror and disgust conveyed by the kids as a result of their parents' questions and revelations are proof that the casting was perfect.
