Tweet To Eat
Wood Pencil / Direct / Direct Response/Ambient / 2015
To launch Walkers' new range of crisps, AMV BBDO installed six unique interactive vending machines in bus shelters across London's iconic Oxford Street. Using the latest digital screen technology, Walkers spokesperson Gary Lineker appeared to be sat inside. When passers-by tweeted Gary, he'd receive the tweet on his phone. Then, in a seamless switch between virtual and physical interaction, he'd dispense a real packet of crisps from the machine. Using motion sensors and video loops, Gary was also able to interact with people in a number of surprising ways, including writing notes and posing for selfies.
