Moving Day is a tradition in Quebec, Canada. Every year on July 1st, 225,000 people move. For two years, IKEA helped by giving out moving boxes. In 2014, IKEA gave away moving boxes that doubled as inspiration. The boxes were printed and sized to resemble IKEA storage units and given away across the city. On Moving Day people could use the boxes to move, then see how IKEA products might look in their new homes, inspiring them to visit IKEA and bring home the real thing.
