For Bic, the biggest producer of pens in the world, handwriting is a very special kind of self-expression. People write more than ever now, but rarely by hand. How could Bic engage people and encourage them to take up that most personal way of writing again? The Universal Typeface Experiment invites people online to contribute their unique script to a constantly growing and changing cross-section of handwritings from people all over the world. The handwritings have been collected and turned into a downloadable font.
