Google can help ordinary people achieve extraordinary things. To motivate more people to experiment with their products, Google created a documentary film combined with an innovative interactive experience. The film told the emotional story of one woman's quest to document her city, and ended with a seamless transition into an immersive website that allowed users to explore Marseille using Google Street View. The experience utilises binaural sound technology to immerse users in the natural sounds of the city. The campaign represents Google's vision of the future of storytelling, combining the best of traditional approaches with the most exciting developments in technology today.
