In Monument Valley, players manipulate fantastical architecture and impossible geometry to guide a silent princess through a stunningly beautiful world, uncovering hidden paths and unfolding optical illusions on the way. The game was designed to disrupt common trends in the mobile gaming industry. Monument Valley is an inclusive, premium game with no violence and without a freemium service model. As a way to encourage exploration, the game offers minimal instruction, instead explaining itself through the universal medium of art. Each screen and level was designed to be a work of art in its own right.
