Message

In their work for Issey Miyake, Tymote wanted to reproduce the joy of sending and receiving messages from loved ones during the holiday season. They designed an original typeface made up of geometric shapes and Issey Miyake products. An accompanying website allowed users to generate and send their own messages online. Each letter was assigned a unique sound so that every message would be read to a different soundtrack. The typeface was used on printed products including stamps and lenticular cards, and in window installations across Issey Miyake's worldwide stores.
