Skatepark
Graphite Pencil / Branding / Brand Experience & Environments / 2015
In America, East Coast and West Coast skateboarding are miles apart - and not just geographically. The East Coast is notable for its rough spots and rougher weather. The West Coast is renowned for its smooth schoolyards and grindable benches. Converse wanted to give skaters the opportunity to experience the spots they'd seen hundreds of times in skate videos but never had access to. Together with Anomaly New York, Converse recreated three iconic spots from New York, Boston and LA, and gave skaters the chance to skate a piece of another's city. With just three scantily branded installations, no press release and no paid media, the campaign generated over two million impressions.
