Real Beauty Sketches
Graphite Pencil / TV & Cinema Advertising / Cinema Commercials 121-240 seconds / 2014
Most women’s overly critical perception of themselves greatly limits their ability to feel beautiful. To prove this, we called in an FBI-trained sketch artist. He interviewed women hidden behind a curtain, using their self-descriptions as the basis of his drawings. Then he drew portraits of those same women, based on descriptions made by strangers who had met the women during a coffee break. To close, we held an exhibition showcasing the portraits. Women admitted that the portraits based on the strangers’ descriptions proved to be more beautiful, positive and accurate.
