A+B Studio designed an integrated graphic language for an exhibition on 3D printing. The design reflects the open source nature of the technology, that enables the creation, sharing, manipulation and printing of 3D objects, resulting in an explosion of creativity. The scheme is inspired by the wireframes used to create 3D objects. Distilling the essence of the exhibition into a flexible framework enables us to connect 2D, 3D and digital content. The message is the medium: By exploiting the technology we turned the interpretation into the narrative by 3D printing every key component.
